Oct. 13th

Logan had a little problem with nausea yesterday morning and his blood pressure was elevated, so he didn't have a great day. By early afternoon things settled down. Today he was able to get a full day of therapy in and was really tired by the time he got back into bed. The infection specialist came by today and said that he was going to discontinue all of Logan's antibiotics and watch carefully for changes in his temperature or any other signs of infection. Tomorrow he will be transported to another facility for a CT scan, then back to TIRR for his regular schedule. We hope to have another good day on Wednesday.

Yesterday they put a cap on Logan's trach tube. This means he is able to breathe normally through his nose and mouth. Also, during the afternoon PT session while he was sitting up, they were playing music in the gym. When the song 'Sweet Home Alabama' came on, he began swinging his left leg 3 or 4 times. In the past 2 months he has had virtually no movement with the left leg.
