update on Log's status

Logan is still running a low-grade fever. His doctor at Lafayette General is willing to transfer him to Lake Charles if the doctor there will accept him . We are unsure if L.C. will take him while he is still has fever; we should find out tomorrow. The shunt procedure could be done after we get to Lake Charles. Logan is moving his right arm and leg and opens his eyes, but as yet does not track objects or respond to commands. The rash is almost gone now and he seems to be comfortable. Tomorrow's update should have more definitive information. 

                                                    There is an article about Logan in today's American Press in the Sunday Talk-The Public Speaks section. It is in section E, page 5.

That is wonderful that he is opening is eyes and moving his arm! There hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about him and your family, or a day that I haven't prayed for y'all! Keep the faith in God and all things will be answered!

We are hoping and praying that Logan can be transferred to LC on Tuesday. Based on the information so far, it can happen soon. He is still in a coma, but his vital signs seems strong. Thanks again to everyone for all of the support and your prayers!

I don't know Logan or the family, but my heart goes out to everyone of them.  I go to the website everyday to check his progress.  Hopefully he can come home soon so that more people can be there.. We are praying for his full recovery...

I don't know Logan or any of his family/friends, but they are all in my thoughts and prayers.  I know God can heal him.  I come here to the website everyday to check in on him.  I hope he comes home soon.  I am praying for him....

I usually don't get too involved in my patients personal life but this has touched me in so many ways. Best of luck and God bless you and you're family. I do hope that one day you WALK through those ICU doors so that we can all see your progress!

I just saw the news and I see that they are trying to pass a law that all bars are required to have digital security cameras...that would be wonderful! Good job Logan! Now wake up! It's time to wake up!

I'm so glad that you have made your way back to Lake Charles.  I wish I could've come to see you tonight with Cade, but Bear needed his Mom.  He needs his Uncle Doogie too, so wake up!!

so Im a little sad that you are back home now, only because I cant stop by and see you as much. But I know Nicole and your family are glad to be closer to home. So I guess that means that I will have to travel home more to see you. SO wake up SOON! So you can get out of these hospitals sooner! Plus we are wearing these sweet bracelets we had made until you do! Wake up Log! Everyone misses you so much!

WAKE UP!! I MISS YOU!! I have to go back to work tomorrow so I will not be with you all day!  I will see you at 12 and then after work! Do not think you will not be on my mind constantly though! I love you and will think about you all day until I see you at lunch!

Logan, I need some fashion advise so please wake up so I know if I should wear the blue pearl snap shirt with the sleeves cut off or the red one.  
I'm glad for you and your family that you are back home, I know it will be easier on them, but the main thing is that you wake up!!  Everyone is still in our prayers.
